Highspot University coursework is designed for those who use Highspot regularly in their roles. Whether just starting out with Highspot, or looking for new ways to optimize your environment, Highspot University aims to provide GTM professionals with actionable expertise.

Coursework is designed to help users get the most out of Highspot. Organized by use case, Highspot University provides lessons, courses, and learning paths covering topics from administering the Highspot platform to establishing and executing a content governance strategy. To see all available videos, courses, and lessons, check out List Groups within the ‘Browse’ menu on the left side of the Highspot University Spot.

In order to complete a course and/or earn a badge, you will need to complete each lesson within that course/Learning Path, as well as any required items within the lessons, such as required content, required video portions, or assessment questions. If any part of the course is not completed, you will not earn any badges associated with the course and/or Learning Path.

Lessons are available on-demand, and we encourage learners to work through content at their own pace, or pause when needed. Each lesson is designed to be able to be completed thoughtfully within 15 minutes or less. All lessons can be completed in isolation, but build off of each other in order to provide a holistic view of each topic. Courses and Learning Paths compile multiple lessons, and can take longer to complete.

Different courses and Learning Paths ladder up to badges, which can be shared on the Spark Community, social media, or your resume to demonstrate your expertise in GTM and the Highspot platform. In order to earn a badge, you must complete all required items within the given course or Learning Path associated with the badge.

Once you have earned a badge, you can access and share your badge through the “Wrap-Up” lesson in each course. Badges will also appear on your profile in the Spark Community, visible under “Highspot University Badges”. Be sure to download and share your badge with your network!

New courses will be released quarterly in order to guide ongoing learning, delve deeper into key Highspot topics and features, and stay up to date with the latest and greatest in the Highspot Platform. Keep up with announcements and newsletters from the Spark Community for the latest updates!

As Highspot University is only available to active Highspot customers, individuals who leave their organizations will lose access to Highspot University. However, badges are issued to the individual users, and any badges/certificates earned are valid even after individuals leave their organizations. Because the Spark Community is only available to active Highspot customers, users who are employed at a new organization that is also a Highspot customer will retain any points and badges earned. However, any learning content submitted to Highspot University (such as assessment answers or course feedback) is specific to the organization’s domain and will not be accessible once a user has transferred organizations.

Yes! Demonstrate your expertise with role- or scenario-based certifications. Certificates are granted at the end of learning paths, and can be found in the Highspot University Spot.

To get started with Highspot University, first, check if you already have access to Highspot University in your organization’s Highspot domain. Marketplace applications are installed across domains, so you may have access to Highspot University if another user within your organization has installed the app.

Search for Highspot University using the search bar within Highspot. If you’re a Highspot Administrator or Analyst for your organization, you can also open the Analytics tab and select the Content List report. Be sure to set the ‘Activity At’ field in the sidebar and the ‘Item Updated At’ column in the report to ‘All Time’. Click the three dot action icon in the ‘Item Spot’ column and search for Highspot University.

If you are already able to access Highspot University in your domain, simply enroll to get started! If you see Highspot University in your organization’s domain, but are unable to access the Spot, reach out to the Spot Owner within your organization.

If you do not see any results, you can continue to download Highspot University.

Highspot University coursework is primarily designed for solution owners (those who administer Highspot for their organizations), however Highspot University content can be beneficial to those in a variety of roles. We recommend that solution owners provide Highspot University access to anyone who uses Highspot frequently within their role or just wants to learn more about the platform.

In order for learners to enroll in courses, the Highspot University Spot must first be shared with those who you want to enroll/be able to enroll in courses. Spot Owners/Editors can share the Spot with everyone within the domain or with select individuals/Groups.

To share the Spot:

  • Visit Spot Settings by clicking the three dots in the upper-right corner of the Spot, and clicking ‘Settings’ in the drop-down menu.
  • Click ‘Sharing’ within the ‘Spot Settings’ menu on the left side of the page.
  • ‘Change Share’ to select how you would like the Spot to be shared. Spot Owners can either make the Spot private, able to be viewed by everyone within the domain, or with select individuals/Groups. To add individuals/Groups, use the ‘Add People’ button in the upper-right corner.

Additionally, Spot Owners and Editors can configure course settings by visiting ‘Settings’ within the ‘Manage Course’ toggle in the upper-right corner.

  • Within ‘Settings’, click into the ‘Course Configuration’ drop-down.
  • Under ‘Course Enrollment’, set course to ‘Invite-only’ to keep enrollment to select individuals and/or Groups. Or, set the course to ‘Self-enroll’ to allow anyone with access to the Spot to enroll in the course.
  • Note that Course Enrollment must be set for each course individually.

Customers who have E2 Agentic and E3 Agentic Licenses with Highspot are able to add courses and lessons from Highspot University to existing courses and/or Learning Paths within their own Highspot domains. This can be a great way to provide an introduction to Highspot within onboarding or ongoing education programs. For all customers, Highspot University lessons and courses can also be bookmarked to other Spots.
